In an Amazing Race-like finish, San Francisco witnessed the closest race finish in the history of the event.  Ground Floor Media beat Dirty Avocados by 36 seconds when their cab ran a stop sign to bypass the sitting Avocados and pulled up for the win.  If the authorities are reading this, the cab allegedly ran a stop sign and they are not sanctioned by the race ;-).

The new Transition Area at Crissy Field proved to be a great move.  And, besides the usual suspects of running, biking, skating and paddling, the SF Oyster also saw teams searcing for 3 finger ginger roots, tying unkown knots, and pouring the perfect pint at Gordon Biersch (and some consumed the perfect pint).

Heard on the docks (shucking oysters):

"I wanted to take a minute to thank all of the people who put on this fantastic race in San Francisco last Sunday. Our group entered as a six pack and really enjoyed the different activities incorporated into the race." - Craig

    - Thanks, Craig. We are officially blushing.

"I just wanted to let you know that my family and I had such a wonderful time at your race event in San Francisco. As we mentioned, my husband found out about it while searching for some triathlons for himself. He's participated in a number of those events and the detail and organization and fun of your event were far superior."- Stephanie

    - You're welcome, Stephanie.  We are still blushing.
