Clipless Pedals
My wife and I are putting together a team for the Denver race. First time either of us have competed.
She has a road bike, and I have my mtn bike. We both have clipless pedals on our bikes. (SPD for me and road for her.)
For this race, should I switch out the clipless for standard pedals? So that we can bike & run in tennis shoes and not have to worry about swapping shoes? Or will it be seperate biking and running and we can change shoes in between?
Just was wondering and thanks for the feedback.

RE:Clipless Pedals
Sometimes there are legs of our race where you will have to bike somewhere and then run or climb stairs, etc.
We will always indicate this on your passport before you leave the transition area (make sure to read the whole passport). It will say- "HINT- if your clipped in you may want to bring a change of shoes".
So it's your call on what you want to race in, but we will always warn you as many of our racers are clippers and we don't want anyone to be uncomfortable or dangerous in running in them.
Cheers and happy training, Luann
